Both our ceremony and reception will be at the greenhouse, called ‘Display Houses’ on the map.

The venue is handicap accessible and has plenty of parking for guests, however, we will have a shuttle service operating to and from both hotels and the venue that we encourage you take.

Did You Know…

“The Hort” is a greenhouse in Philadelphia’s largest public park. The greenhouse stands on the site of the former Horticulture Hall which was built for America’s Centennial Exhibition in 1876. Sadly, the original Horticulture Hall was destroyed in a Hurricane, and the current Horticulture Center greenhouse that we’re getting married in was built in 1979. Its grounds contain:

The greenhouse sits on beautifully curated grounds with sculptures, gardens, trails, and little picnic areas.

Travel

We’re going to keep you partying in the greenhouses all afternoon and evening, so if you want to take a stroll around and see more of the park, we recommend taking the earlier shuttle and strolling around the Centennial Arboretum.

Want to grab a shuttle?

We’re offering TWO shuttle options:

  1. Early Shuttle, departing at 2:00p from Marriott Old City (2nd and Walnut).

  2. Main Shuttle #2, departing at 3:00p from Le Méridien (15th and Arch)

We recommend taking these shuttles instead of driving yourself, even if you’re staying at a different hotel or are local to Philly.

At the end of the night, you have three options:

  1. 8:30pm shuttle to both hotels

  2. 9:30pm shuttle to both hotels

  3. 🎉 9:30pm shuttle to the Solar Myth afterparty 🎉

Want to arrive on your own schedule?

We’ll email out a more precise shuttle schedule and pick-up locations by early October.

That said, if you prefer to drive responsibly, the venue has plenty of parking.

Taxis and Ride Share apps can also easily get you to the Horticulture Center if you want to get there on your own time rather than be stuck to the shuttle’s schedule.
